psych write up II

Ron and Brenda Merkel (my parents) came into Mr. Hess’s period 3 Psychology class on December 21, 2008. Ron is a General Manager of sales for Cummins Power Systems LLC. Ron thought that he would be disrespected by the students. He believed that the students would not care about what he had to say and would not listen to the knowledge and wisdom that he had to offer. Brenda is a registered nurse and works at Hershey Medical Center in Utilization and Review. She thought that she would be asked embarrassing questions and unsure about how the students would act and how the interview would be set up. After the interview took place, Ron’s previous thoughts were changed. He felt that the students respected him and paid attention to his answers. They were attentive and actively participated in the interview. As for Brenda, she believed that Mr. Hess planned a great set up. She believed that the questions were appropriate and that the students were attentive. All in all, they thought it was a wonderful experience and opportunity to minister to the other students.
