ohhh boy i am tired...
i went to see sweeney todd with my mom and courtney tonight... it was very good, but totally different from all other musicals that i have seen... there was no orchestra pit. instead, the actors on stage played the instruments and sang at the same time... and there were only ten actors... they never switched out and never had a background change... they used the props that stayed on the stage: mainly chairs, a coffin, and various knick knacks... it was really dark... the instruments included a key board, guitar, two cellos, a bass, two clarinets, an accordion, a flute, two trumpets, bells and various other percussion instruments, and a baritone. many of the singers switched instruments throughout the evening...
i need to study chemistry...
i need to sleep...
